DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL SILCHAR
A valuable addition to the echelons of well-established DPS schools, DPS Silchar, was setup with
focused perseverance of carrying forward the legacy of its parent organization - that of being an
institute which is a compendium of holistic education and overall development of children.
DPS Silchar is conveniently situated in a lush and serene area of BUDURAIL SILCHAR, within 3
kms from the noise and humdrum of the city life. With a sprawling campus of 8 acres in a
peaceful and inspiring location, the school's lush-green lawns, spacious and well-ventilated
class-rooms create a perfect environment for learning.
Affiliated to CBSE, DPS Silchar offers schooling from Nursery up to Senior Secondary. We offer
Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams in Class XI. For facilitating adequate individual
attention to all students, we limit the number of students per class to approximately 35 in pre-
primary and 40 in higher classes. This enables the teachers to nurture each student's emotional,
behavioural and academic needs. In accordance with the modern needs of digital learning, our
school has a digital classrooms, well-equipped library, computer labs and specialized labs for
maths, science and language.
The school has state of the art sports and fine arts facilities for refreshing the students between
their curricular learning classes and developing their sports/artistic potential. These facilities
include football, cricket and athletic grounds, table tennis, and specialized well equipped
studios for art, music and dance.
Constant CCTV supervision and security guards ensure the security of our students in the school
premises. The school transport has a fleet of GPS tracked buses for safe passage of each child to
school and home ensure maximum safety of our students at all times.
