ADMISSION PROCEDURE

For admission in DPS, Silchar, please follow the below-mentioned procedure accurately. Online Registration Form

Step 1: Purchase the Prospectus from School and get the Registration form

• Read the prospectus and instructions in the registration form carefully before filling form.
• Check Age criteria before applying for admission to a class


Step 2: Submit filled registration form with required documents and registration fee

• A duly filled registration form can be submitted in hard copy at the school, or submitted online on the school website.
• Hard copy form should be submitted in original. Photocopies of the form will not be accepted.
• Incomplete, illegible and overwritten registration forms will not be considered for admission.
• The following should be submitted with the registration form

1. Latest colored passport size photograph of the student (One duly pasted on the form and two enclosed along).
2. Latest colored passport size photograph of the parents (Father & Mother).
3. Parent-attested photocopy of student’s birth certificate/ Aadhar card issued by a competent Government Authority (Affidavits or school certificates are not acceptable to certify DOB).
4. Parent-attested copy of the report card or mark sheets of the Last Yearly/ Half Yearly examination of the previous class and school.
5. Original Transfer Certificate from last school attended (For Classes II and above)
6. Address Proof: Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ Electricity Bill/ Passport of parents.
7. Undertaking duly singed by the parents.
8. Pupil’s Medical Check-Up Report duly filled in by a doctor.


Step 3: Admission test/interaction for all eligible candidates.


• Upon submission of the registration form, parents will be informed of a date for the admission test/ interaction
• Interaction for candidate for classes Nursery, LKG and UKG. Basic admission test of English, Mathematics and Hindi for classes 1 and above.
• Selection for admission is subject to a candidate qualifying an entrance test/interaction


Step 4: Names of selected candidates will be displayed on the school website and notice board.

• Check the school website or school notice board for the selected candidates.


Step 5: Deposition of fees and submission of documents Admission confirmed.

• Selected candidates will be required to deposit Admission fee within 5 days from display of names.


Step 6: ADMISSION CONFIRMATION

• Admission will be confirmed on successful completion of all the above steps
• Admission is strictly subject to fulfilling of all conditions and submission of requisite document
• The School management, acting through the managing board reserves the right to have the final word in all matters relating to the admission procedure.
