Run by a group of talented, dedicated and selfless eminent personalities, the Delhi Public School Society is a non profit, non proprietary unaided society which upholds its commitment to impart quality education. It began its journey in 1941 in the President's Estate as Church High School, later renamed as Naveen Bharat School in 1947 and finally shifted to current location of DPS Mathura road in 1949.
Since then, the DPS Society has traversed a long journey of vision and spirit for more than seven decades and established schools spread across India and various countries. Today, the DPS Society stands as a citadel of learning, a harbinger of quality consciousness and career development, making the DPS schools one of the largest chains of premier educational institutions.
Believing that quality education is the high road to both individual and national progress, the society has proved to be a significant trend setter in the field of school education in India. The DPS family is growing every day.
